San Francisco is a visual delight. It's so different than the cities of the plains where I have lived. And of course, one must do the obligatory tourist things to get the full flavor. On a cold rainy day in early fall, we rode the trolley from Ghirardelli Square to the Pier along with this group. If you look closely you can see we are being closely examined.
