The mushroom brooches came out of a day when I just wanted to play with my materials and not worry about right angles and straight lines. Happy Mushroom Three is a sister to Happy Mushroom Two -- my jaunty take on our favorite edible fungi! At 2.75" high, it's designed for a lapel, jean jacket or coat, and a heavier fabric. It is made from sterling silver with assorted inlaid sterling pattern sheet; the piece has been oxidized to bring out the etched detail. The stem has a cross-hatched, brushed finish.
