Gilded Ladies is a celebration of the goddess present in all of us. I took influence from Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh, aspiring to a richness and reverence for my subject. I layered images taken of trees at night in New Jersey, textures created from aerial photos and images from around town with illumination-worthy silver screen goddesses. This piece incorporates images taken by me as well as images from the creative commons.
