Drifting
I once was carried by the tide, swept into the sea. I was alone on the beach, in a foreign country, and I contemplated the abyss. It extended around me, the ocean, the sky, the world. I am minuscule, ephemeral. I was falling asleep, after looking out at the midnight blue sky when I conceived this piece. It celebrates the feeling you get when you are carried away by the tide, and contemplates the vast expanse of ocean enveloping you, stares at the stars with the word billions echoing in your mind. This piece incorporates images taken by me as well as images from the creative commons. Available on archival paper, acrylic glass, brushed aluminum, direct print on metal, canvas, and framed archival print. Also available in different sizes. Please contact me with any custom requests.
