This ceramic sculpture came to the artist as an idea as she watched the sun set.
After it is fired in the kiln, the artist applies many layers of patinas and metallic acrylics to achieve the look you see. Each is made by hand, so no two sculptures will be alike. Steel base has a powder-coated satin black finish.
