Hello! I’m Kayla – Iowa native, family photographer, doting aunt, graduate student pursuing my MS in clinical mental health counseling, and polymer clay artist! I own Made By Clayla, and I’m so happy to have you here.

In the beginning, establishing Made By Clayla felt like a big risk, but ended up being the biggest reward. When I decided to take that chance on myself, I went from an insecure and guarded person to seeing myself for who I really am: a capable and talented creator and business owner. By opening up myself to my own artistry that had been hidden inside of me, I was also opening up myself to the world. The positive feedback it has received has meant truly so much to me. Late nights of creating have led to an income during the pandemic, as well as a way for me to give back to the community through donations. It’s also given me much more, it has introduced me to spectacular humans who have offered their support and love for humanities, arts, and giving back.

I’m so thankful to partner with local-good to be able to give back, to be among a community of like minded people, and to have the opportunity to cross paths with you.

Made By Clayla jewelry uses polymer clay as her primary art medium, while also incorporating other elements into her jewelry. Polymer clay jewelry is lightweight and durable. Made by Clayla’s understated and unique designs, attention to detail, affordability and sustainability, charitable donations, and desire to see others succeed, are distinguished core values that set her apart.
